My little fighter!

I arrived early this morning at the hospital for my morning milk drop (I feel like the milk man), and found the boys to be doing really well. Baby Cole had a better night last night and he seemed to be resting very cozy in his little bed. He woke up when I came in so I snapped this picture of him. He's looking much more like himself today. His A's & B's have continued but he's been pulling himself out of them more now so that is a good thing. The meds that he is on should be kicking in by now so hopefully today will be a much easier day for him. He lost some more weight last night so maybe today he'll have a chance to rest and gain back the few ounces that he had put on.

He's a trooper - I have faith that he's going to pull this out. Just like THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD! More later after my mid-day visit...

Here is my love, Cole, at 31 weeks gestational age, almost 3 weeks birth age;

My heart aches for you with these rollercoasters. Hopefully they will be very short rides. I remember them all too well - just the throw up, sick, kind of feeling because you feel like it just sets you back sooo far. It is part of the NICU process. They are really doing well and they sure are beautiful babies. Hang in there...... those babies will be home in their own cribs before you know it. Did you ever think that you could love anything that much in your life? The prayers continue........

Love, Tina

Your blog title says it all what a journey this has been for you both. It has certainly been an emotional roller coaster. Besides healing physically, I know it's emotionally exhausting as well.
Your babies are beautiful and I know you are proud. Tina is right, they will be home in their own cribs before you know it. Hang in there and the prayers still continue.

Love,
Robin
