Day #12

Just a quick update; all of Cole's tests came out perfect! No reason to worry about an infection in his spinal fluid, which could have been more serious. Both of the boys head scans also showed no signs of hemorrhage or bleeding - another GREAT piece of news. They will have another routine head scan at 30 days of life; Chuck and I both held the babies today - hence the first "family photo" below. We had a great day with them...they are such lovebugs, I can barely stand it. They are starting to act like real babies now - crying, pooping, flailing arms and legs and generally showing some personality. We can't get over how much they have changed in just 12 days. It's hard not to just stay there and stare at them for endless hours.

Thanks for your continued prayers - we are feeling them each and every day as we plug along, one day at a time! Love to all.

Here's our first family photo; it's not Christmas card material but it's a start!

We just heard from Jen about your wonderful news. We have been thinking and praying for you all along. Jen just told me about the Website and I'm pouring over it all. Don't worry about the picture, I'm sure there will be thousands more before Christmas card time. We think you all looking beautiful!!!

Kate and Chuck

I think that the Licameli family photo might be the most beautiful family portrait that I have seen. You all look great and I think it is duly worthy of a Christmas card. I can't wait to meet the boys!
