Grampy held Cole tonight for the first time!

Grampy got to hold Cole tonight - they both enjoyed it very much. See how happy they both are?

Well, as a follow up to last night's post, the boys were moved to a new location; it's within the NICU unit, just into a side room. They got three new babies today so the reason for the move was to make more space for the sick babies on the main floor area. I'm not sure how keen I am on it yet but will be giving it some more thought over the next couple of days. The problem is that there is a little baby that has been pretty sick in the same little room with them ~ the germ factor is what is making me so nervous; but all of the nurses agree that they are actually better off in the little room than they are out in the open with many other babies. The nurses are so good about washing their hands between babies that I probably need to chill and not worry so much. It gives us a great deal more privacy so hopefully it's going to work out just fine. Time will tell I guess.

JD hit his birth weight today! Yay!! Now he just needs to start packing on the pounds. Cole is almost going to hit the 2lb mark, probably tomorrow, so he's only about an ounce away from his birth weight too. We are so excited that they are starting to grow now!

The boys are doing very well and hitting such amazing milestones. I am so impressed with JD on hitting his birth weight and Cole close behind. Keep up the good work Mom!

Kate-

We're glad to read all is going so well for everyone! JD and Cole look great. Our little girls will be making an entrance in to this world on or before next Thursday. Reading your posts each day has just made me that much more excited to meet our little ones. I know those boys will keep gaining that weight!

What special pictures! I am delighted for all of you. I am always so happy to hear about the progress the little ones are making and to read all the exciting things going on in their lives.
Keep on being their advocate, they need you in there pitching for them.
Hugs and prayers for all!

It's been so great hearing about your boys. They are so beautiful. Everyone in the Beach is interested in their progress. They will have so many surrogate parents and grandparents. Gloria
