Another day down...

We'll chalk this day up as another uneventful day so far (not a bad thing). The boys were resting very peacefully today while I was there - they were in the midst of their sleep study which is being done from 12pm to 12am tonight. When I arrived, they were all hooked up with a rats nest of wires in their isoletes from all of the probes and monitoring devices. They were not in any discomfort, which is great. In fact, they probably didn't even know that anything was different. Sadly, I didn't get to hold them at all today which is a first in MANY weeks. I've been so spoiled. That makes it all the more fun tomorrow when I get to have them out!!!

Cole gained another 50 grams last night (almost 2 whole ounces) so I think he's got the hang of this "growing" thing. Both boys are so happy and content most of the time - and today they got a lot of good rest so that should do them both right.

I'm off to my NICU parents support group tonight - I'm not a big support group gal but the NICU social worker has worked hard to put this together so I'm going to give it a try. Can't hurt. Until tomorrow - thanks for the continued prayers. You guys are getting us through this!!!
