I think I can, I think I can...

I got to Kangaroo with both boys today and we snuggled for about an hour and a half. Both boys nestled right in and didn't say a peep. No A&B episodes either! I have said this before but I don't know who it is better for when we are together, me or them.

I told them the story of THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD today - and hopefully Cole now has a new mantra - "I think I can". Cole is looking like himself again and feisty as usual; he's had a much better day today and at tonight's visit, he was very bright eyed. That is a good sign. He still lost a bit more weight today but we're remaining hopeful that tomorrow he'll be the same or even gain a few grams.

JD went up 20 more grams tonight - he's right at 2 lb, 8 oz now. He looks so much bigger than Cole right now. We're cheering Cole on to catch up!

Headed to bed now - just wanted to post a quick update. Hopefully we're on the uphill of the rollercoaster again - not the downhill. We should have culture results back tomorrow or Tues so keep your fingers crossed. Thanks for the continued prayers - you guys are truly the best!

I love The Little Engine That Could and so did my kids. It is appropriate in many instances and this is definitely one of them. Slow and steady may be slow but in the end, it is the results that count, not how fast you got there.

My prayers for your precious boys, your little engines that can!!!!

Don't ever stop reading them this story. It is such a morale booster for everyone.
