The other big news is that Cole came off of the ventilator today! They put him on CPAP, just like his brother and he seems to be holding OK on it for now. He's a little weaker than JD is so they were hopeful that he would be able to hold his own. Time will tell but we can't wait to go see him tonight without that big tube in his little mouth. We have never been able to see his face too well since he's been intubated since birth so it will be great to see him! The nurse said that maybe tomorrow we'll get to hold him - that would be awesome. She wants to try to get them both out at the same time so each of us can hold them together. We're keeping our fingers crossed that he will hold OK through the night and we'll be able to look forward to that in the morning.
Cole's liver function tests came back great from last night so they are reassured that his little organs are working well. There was some concern due to his coloring since he's a bit darker than his brother. I told them it was just that nice dark italian skin! He's still under the blue lights today but hopefully that will change soon too; then he can have his sunglasses off!
Here are a few snaps from today - hoping to get some more tonight once we go back and see him off of the vent. I'll post more as we get them. It's another good day to be thankful for!!! I still can't believe that they are only 5 days old - it seems like it's been weeks since they were born...

OMG!!You can tell how little they are next to Chuckie.. Chuckie you look great with your sons :)) You Both look very Happy :) Glad to hear all the test's came back good on Cole:)) Hope You guys have another good day today:) I'm sure you are enjoying every minute of it!!! Get some rest!!! We love ya ALL :))
