TGIF

Well, 24 weeks and 4 days, and counting. Babies looked good this a.m. I've been taken off some of my daily monitoring equipment (they were monitoring my contractions all day and all night up until yesterday) so it feels good to have a few less wires connected to my body. They are now allowing me a sitting shower (<10 minutes) every other day if I want it. The small things in life huh? I think I'll take them up on that!

I'm finally getting over the UTI/Bladder infection that I got from the cathetar; and we're getting a handle on my nausea from all of the medications. All in all, I'm starting to feel a little bit better and get my appetite back. The babies are growiing a lot now - my belly is rediculously large. It's amazing how I've just laid in bed for the last 6 weeks and my belly is still growing. Pretty amzing.

Hoping to see the perinatologist today again and get some more measurements on the kids. Based on the size of my belly, I feel like they should be 3 pounds each but I know that is a silly thought. They are probably a bit under 2 lbs each now; they still have some growing to do!!

I'll post later if we get any more significant updates. Hoping for a good quiet weekend so we can hit that 25 week mark! Take care all and hope you all are staying cool in this brutal weather.

Good to hear things are steady My continued prayers are with your family.

I know it's hard to realize that you are in the “real world.” Growing babies . . . , it doesn’t get anymore real than that. And you are entitled to vent. Realize that under your circumstances it is good for you to vent and not hold your frustration and anxiety in. You are definitely not on vacation - your body is working harder than ever! Don't feel guilty for doing what you are doing so well . . . with more grace than most of us ever could. You have reached out to all of us through your blog and through your unending devotion to your amazing boys.

Katie---So glad all is well for today. Can't wait to hear about how big the boys are now. Praying for you and all three of your precious boys. Glad you are doing better too. It is true that we take so much for granted when we are out and about. Praying as you work hard growing those boys that you are blessed tremendously. Hope you continue to feel better.
