The boys are looking extra handsome today ~ they are getting bigger by the day. But today was the first time that I could subjectively really tell that Baby A is much smaller. He's still growing but very slowly and not enough. His heart continues to beat at the same rate, nice and strong. It sounds like my doctors are thinking 32 weeks will be the magic delivery week, assuming I can make it until then (which I think I can). This is based on several things, but mainly because the bigger they get, the faster Baby B can be affected if Baby A dies in utero. They don't want to take any chances on anything further happening once we get to 32 weeks since the babies should be much stronger by then and they have an excellent chance at being ok when they are born at 32 weeks. Knowing this, I do feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
My regular OB scanned me today but he's out of here this afternoon for vacay. So for the next 10 days, I have to hold on tight, at least until he gets back from vacation. Only 10 more days until 28 weeks - then we'll set our next milestone.
The deformity going on on the outside of my belly when these little guys move around is hilarious. Just a few days ago, I started getting two big lumps, one on top left side of my belly and one at the bottom center. That would be Baby B & C, poking out. It's very odd looking; these boys have some big noggins! Lord knows where they got that since C. and I have the smallest heads ever recorded. God willing they got a larger size head from the Leach side of the family so they don't spend their lives wearing child size hats! They also got their Daddy's big feet - lord knows my bladder can attest to that! Happy Friday to all - until tomorrow...
