Surprisingly, and very unlike his Mommy, he woke up quickly and happily from his "sleep" and drank some water and was ready to go. He ate in the car all the way home and ate a huge lunch once we got back to the house. He's as good as new - just has a big band aid on his forehead. Aside from his bandage, you would never know anything happened.
Thanks to everyone for your calls, thoughts and prayers. I think it was definitely harder on me than it was on JD - which is a good thing. Brother Cole had a fun day with Gramma while we were gone too. I'm just glad it's behind us now. Onward we go!

JD you are a champion! Now don't let Cole take you "cool" bandage off! Love to you all

I knew that he would be a champ. So glad that it went well.

Well, JD (aka Wynken) you have an event to tell your buddies about when you get a little bigger!! Piece of cake for a brave boy.
Much to your mama's dismay you will probably have a few more trips to the Doc's office once you start playing sports!!!
Auntie De thinks you're a trooper!!
Love to all!
Glad things went well, Kate and happy we are able to know what you all are up to from so far away. :) I'm convinced kids are WAY stronger than we are in many respects...
