Toddlerhood

Has arrived. WITH. A. VENGEANCE.

Yes, we've got full fledged toddlers here. With minds and wants of their own. Just this last week my sweet little boys (well, they are still sweet but...) turned into little people that are much harder to reason with. I knew it was coming and was surprised it hadn't come yet. Things just got a little louder around here.

The plastic golf clubs have been removed from the toy repertoire since they seemed to be better suited for whacking each other over the head than using them to hit golf balls. And the oven now has a special latch on it since we enjoy trying to climb inside. And all cabinets have been officially safety locked as to avoid the contents being strewn about the house. And I will add that all of these new safety features are extremely frustrating for two very busy little people since it took away all of the fun. The master bath is the latest point of interest - standing in the shower seems to be the place to be. Can someone tell me why a toddler enjoys chewing on an OUR adult toothbrushs so much?

The hardest part is not laughing at them when they start to push my buttons! What a hoot this is - it's amazing how manipulative they are at such a young age, isn't it? I feel like a broken record all day long refereeing the sharing and prompting please and thank you...
